This policy explains how Kayou Vehicle ("we", "us") collects and uses the information you give us when you request a quotation for our vehicles, including semi-trailers and HOWO tipper trucks. It applies to enquiries made through this website, through forms on Facebook or Instagram, and through WhatsApp.

• Your email address
• Your phone or WhatsApp number
• Your country and destination port or city
• Details of your enquiry: vehicle model, quantity, intended use, and purchase timeframe

We collect this information only when you choose to submit it. We do not collect payment card details, identity document numbers, or any special category personal data.

2. Why we use it

• To prepare and send you a quotation, specification sheet, and freight estimate
• To answer your questions about the vehicles, shipping, and payment terms
• To arrange pre-shipment inspection and export documentation if you place an order
• To follow up on an enquiry you have already made

We do not use your information for automated decision-making or profiling.

3. Facebook and Instagram lead forms

If you submit a lead form shown in a Meta advertisement, Meta Platforms passes the answers you provided to us so that we can contact you. Meta's own handling of that data is governed by the Meta Privacy Policy. Once we receive your details, this policy applies.

4. Who we share it with

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We share it only where it is necessary to fulfil your enquiry or order:

• Freight forwarders and shipping lines, to quote and arrange transport
• Accredited inspection bodies (for example SGS, Bureau Veritas, Intertek, Cotecna) where your country requires pre-shipment inspection
• Banks, where a transaction requires it

We may also disclose information where we are required to do so by law.

5. How long we keep it

We keep enquiry records for up to 24 months from your last contact with us. Where an order is placed, we keep the related trade and export records for as long as commercial and tax law requires.

6. Your rights

You may ask us at any time to provide a copy of the information we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. You may also ask us to stop contacting you. We will action any such request within 30 days at no cost to you.

7. Security

Enquiry data is held in access-controlled business accounts and is available only to the staff who handle quotations and orders.
